Strange that some share holders like to be treated like like mush rooms. Big daddy Directors know best for me! Don't remember any body for attacking the Board of Directors of AWE for the disclosures either. And as a share holder in David Jones I certainly don't remember share holders complaining about disclosure. But the Disclosure rules are not to prevent Directors from being criticised. They are there to ensure that the MARKET IS INFORMED.

But they are condemned by their action in disclosing it 3 months later. In their arrogant style they thought they would hide it and hope the bidder would go away. Children share holders need not know. Now it has come back and bit them on the bum. If they thought they were in the clear about the disclosure rules, all they needed to say "We do not respond to rumours and we are not currently in discussion."
