Alonso, looks like resol is partly correct. Under the announcement from 14th June, and under the standstill agreement from the confidentiality agreement of 26th April, GWA is NOT to acquire any QTG shares until 26 Oct 2012. There are three exceptions however:

(i) where QTG has given its written consent.
(ii) if the Board agrees and recommends to shareholders the terms of a transaction.
(iii) if there is a competing proposal.

I presume (ii) has been met, so maybe GWA are free to purchase shares.
