Board bust-up when Galilee accepted Bathurst offer for NZ coal assets. Cambell Smith then resigned in protest, I believe, although no statement issued. Smith was to manage the NZ assets in a new role and this role disappeared when the assets sold for about $30m. This is how GLL is now sitting on $28m. Whatever agenda Smith has you can be sure dumping the current board is high on his list. New entrants to this stock may not be aware of this history.
