A brilliant rise..no doubt, but wat a shock re the health levy..whilst it is accepted wisdom that u cant insure ur spouse/or relative for a million then kill him the next day to claim the insurance, now on Appeal to 3 supreme Victorian judges a party can be encouraged to shell out lots of money, encouraged to expect an extension of contract and if they do all that then at the last min..the state gov can pull out and not honor a contract.
Its now not for this gov to honour a contract.....when they can claim that by doing so, lots of little pple will lose out, schools wont be built, hospitals wont get funded....discretion with costs has to be exercised to make the poor fool who thought he was dealing with an honest government pay for services rendered and promises made.
After all...its the character of the Court..who is setting these NEW standards, and its the very character of this Victorian Supreme Court that has to be taken to the High court to bring some sense back into the word of this inept Government .
