Harry Boon is part of the Melbourne establishment. KKR would not have started bidding if they were going to bow out. I reckon Harry has a bet each and suspect a bidding war of sorts between TAH and KKR IMHO. TTS is probably worth more than the $4.20 especially when you take into account the special dividend. A bit surprised TAH and TTS are range bound (TAH in the 470s and TTS in the 430s/ early 440s.
No Elliot Waves to see here (the ASX is in a downtrend wave 4 which will become an uptrend Wave 5 in the next week or so: that may play well for KKR upping the offer: buy before May and go away, KKR can execute their TTS transaction over the Northern Hemisphere Summer down under when not much is happening for Kravis in the States.
A weakened TAH will be a target down the track IMHO but this TTS and TAH play will need to be sorted out first.
