Unlikely - plenty of capacity in GDX and GLD. Gold ETF's are always double edged swords! When markets turn ETF's compound sell-offs and become self fulfilling prophecy's!
GDXJ may add NST however GDXJ also holds almost 11m shares in GDX - current market value US$268m. This holding may be liquidated to facilitate the June rebalance which would result in scaling back GDX holdings by over 2%.
Also note that shorting is used to add large stock holdings - ref NST +46m in March 2015. Most big additions or deletions are not bought or sold on market.
