I think it's a combination of disgruntled ex Nearmap employees and the supplier that designed the original nearmap camera pods. Maybe even Stuart Nixon could be involved.
A lot of the ex employees seem bitter with the CEO Simon Crowther and new CFO Gerhard Beukes for the way they were treated as employees.
Read the reviews below for some very brutal honesty directed at NEA and it's management team from ex employees.
