re: tastarga/marchelo Despite being from the West, I have always found Andy far more accurate in his comments than just about any of the other fellows operating in the Kalgoorlie Region.
Do I punt on juniors /explorers-not so much at the moment but up until the middle of last year quite heavily. The reason for the change is that I get scared when people suggest that company "x' is only trading at a market cap of $8million, (when it only has $1million in the bank, and exploration ground of only moderate interest with uninspiring exploration programmes forecast)-ie just about everything is way overvalued at the bottom end and I am finding it hard justifying an investment.
One decent correction and most of the hot stocks mentioned on HC would drop 50-80% in no time.
I started in the industry in the late 70's-this is my fourth boom. From 93 until last year or so it was a real nightmare.!
Guess I've been fortunate and made a bit-am not in a great hurry to give it back.
As to JAK, if I was punting seriously this stock would probably make a select group-first rule is trustworthy management! (I am still kicking myself for having a small flutter on GIP last year and did not look properly at management-b*gger).
If you want fundamental back up on HC have a good look at posts by Ian Whitchurch, acturtle, mondo, mangrove, kahuna, zzedzz, blackgold, bendigo, just to name a few.
