Will be very interested to keep tabs on this chat and i’ll have to give the episodes a listen so I know what everyone is talking about

I’ve gone down the Forex path - but very interested in ASX too as I’m still trading / investing it, but I feel automation is a great path for, if nothing else, testing ideas and learning from a different angle - but I’ve been doing exceptionally well at trading ASX, even with all the corrections, so not too phased from that aspect however I did want to hedge against ASX in general, so Fx ticked that box for me and I am going 100% algo in that domain - been toying for a few months and have started learning the code for MQL4 (Metatrader language) but starting to look at more sophisticated platforms at present... as i’m already finding hard coding these things to be quite time consuming. Not to derail the chat with forex talk sorry! just thought I would let you know the perspective I had when it comes to this topic.

I’ll be interested to see what opportunities may exist in ASX whilst I do Fx in parallel - but many concepts are similar so I hope maybe I will be able to contribute something helpful from time to time. It’s a fascinating area!
