This is US Government Transportation Policy that once ANY EV manufacturer has met the 200,000 unit threshold, federal subsidies are phased out for ALL EV models sold by that specific manufacturer in the North America. Tesla's number has been met so phase out of subsidies ending in January 2019.
Hyundai, Ford, GM, Daewoo, Nissan, Toyota, etc. all are subject to the 200,000 unit threshold...no exceptions.
