That's really bad news for all ERG shareholders.
The medium term outlook looks depressing.
We'll soon find out whether ERG has also lost the maintenance contract for Sydney.
However, in the long term no one knows what will happen. ERG's past reports didn't include any revenue from Sydney, only costs. That is, the company is probably better off without Sydney. As long as they can get their other projects going.
One dark point is the looming legal battles with the NSW government.
