Kfann, good insights. "the GA equity discount". One of the reasons that OXX is off the radar is that for whatever reason OXX isn't followed by the industry as you say. Is that a good thing or bad? They are all sycophants and only out for themselves of course, or should I say IMHO. That GA doesn't want to, or won't play their game, is arguably, not a bad thing, again IMHO. He has exposed OXX holders to 5 drills, two gone, two in the ground, one coming up, and oh I forgot about Cornea one or two there as well, (no pun intended). I think that there night have been one more as well? My memory is not good, grey hair, Alzheimer's etc. Taking CR's, distributions, etc, without doing an analysis, I'm pretty sure that an initial investor in OXX in 2003 at 10c would be in the money today at 21c. An enviable record for a junior oiler. No success yet, but 3 coming up, fingers crossed. Yes it is hard for junior oilers, but I don't see how up to now, 'courting' Hartleys or Pattersons would have added any value to the OXX? Maybe for the day traders but I am not one of those? I have seen the broking industry at their work and I don't like. I'm personally happy that there are no broker reports on the OXX. GA does have a grip on OXX? Again is this a good or bad thing? Consequence of this is that he spends his own money and largely he has spent it wisely. He has a lot of skin in OXX. He can't be accused of being in it for the salary or director fees unlike plenty I'm sure we could both mention with inflated ideas of their worth. Are we under GA's 'shadow' or his 'umbrella'? How he treats share holders in the event of success we will hopefully see, (good problem to have), but so far, apart from a couple of things that I didn't like, I don't have much to complain about. And make no mistake, in the event of success the "industry" will be all over OXX like a rash. Lotto winners are not short of friends! I hope that in the event of success GA tells them to f@@ off.
