I have to admit that I have wondered how he keeps track of his empire. My biggest concerns has been these "Schemes of Arrangement" and the fairness of them. The potential of using one vehicle to save another mostly for his own convenience. I had worried that he was going to try and merge MOG and OXX. The 'conflict of interest' problem must be ever present. When I say he has lots of 'skin' in the game, I guess the truth is he really has 'skin' spread all over the place. Don't mind the autocratic part of it, in fact with the proviso of the conflict problem above, I quite like that. Not fussed on some of these "Boards of Directors" and CEO's. Especially when they have no 'skin' in the game. Old farts like me sitting around, eating the biscuits and blowing smoke up each others ar@es.
I had initially been much more derogatory towards the stock broking fraternity in my previous post, but 'something' told me to 'tone it down'. Lol. Glad I did so now.
You obviously have far more knowledge and insight to GA than most of us, I have only spoken to him a couple of times. You insights are much appreciated.
