Yes mate.
As I took a seat up the back, the only vacant spot was next to a senior gent who was nodding off. Poor bloke might have slept thru the presentation of a lifetime...
As you can tell from the announcement, the 15 mins allocated had a fair bit to cover and the entire portfolio of SVY targets were given some coverage. Obviously most attention was given to TG, but Tasmania etc was also spoken about.
Presenter mentioned that Chris had "parachuted in" to take the last spot on the day, and mentioned that some may recall his success at Integra.
Current hole mentioned as being beyond 800m depth.
Chalcocite envelope at TG was described as "economic", in that the strip ratio is 1 (I think he said) so dig it up and throw it on the train track that bisects TG and send off to a location for processing, could theoretically happen.
(this next bit i'm trying my best to recall, someone like @Crimsoncarp could possibly assess accuracy,) ... re Bornite, Chris mentioned copper grades would be expected to be increased at a 2 to 3 fold magnitude (I think he may have been talking "typically"/academically, not as an early assesment on SMD44's assay), and Cadia indicates that gold contained with Bornite goes up in orders of magnitude in these areas, again, academically.
He described how over 500Mil years the "furniture was moved" and that the model has been complex to interpret, but that they have a good handle on it now, aided by deep thought and the block model we have now come to see, that led to 44 hitting some better stuff.
Long story short, we are getting into the hotter zones, and this provides a valuable vector to the most promising locations for the porphyry.
Bornite was mentioned as the smoke that you follow when hunting the fire (porphyry core), and the prize is a big porphyry underground
Chris touched on the "horse tail" formation and the HSS (High-Sulphidation Structure) at Lepanto that follows down the the porphyry there (as written into the presentation). Will be drilling to test this theory - represented by the red line on the map above the Lepanto schematic.
Left with the comment that it is a very exciting time for the company, and he is still very confident they will find it
