So I've been thinking why do I like this stock. There have been several not so pleasant dabs in ASX listed entities in far flung places (SDL - Camerroon/Congo - CVR in Khazakstan) and even on my doorstep of New Guinea and Indonesia there have been great systemic failures.

However I had terrific run with Pan Australia Mining for many years. Fair to say I have been in the mining game and had a colleagues insight who was on the project. The similarities are there all be it PNA started from scratch in Laos and developed a copper/gold project on time and on budget - top management in a country that had never seen any previous mining on this scale. Sure copper and gold were flying at the time but so to is/will graphite (graphene is also now being used to transfer salt water to fresh water - worth a fortune to arid countries and farming? - we know about traditional uses and emerging battery tech graphite use and yes I know graphene is not exactly graphite but it all starts with graphite).

Anyway sure I'm talking Malawi and graphite however the insight given to me was PNA although mentioned other deposits and projects was never rated for such and sure enough after Phu Kham - the profits generated quickly saw them develop Ban Xuai deposit - all be it a little over budget - now I see the hall marks of a similar scenario and it is why I am prepared to sit back and smoke my pipe on this SVM and no its not that stuff. Fair dinkum if it takes 2 years or 5 years - so long as it's done properly Malingunde could be just the beginning and I am very confident in the Chairman and board to achieve success.
