SVC are also a management company...they manage retirement living complexes..my mum lives in 1.. the model i think is excellant, but I am not sure of the profitabaility of it...
pensioners pay 85% of pension (plus the rent assistance they receive) to have a small unit (1 bedroon, and all meals provided. Managers live on premises and get paid to manage the comples, do linnen laundrey /meals etc...individual investors buy the units and get a guaranteed return...so there must be $$ somewhere...basically it means in my thinking that any person at pension age should not be homeless...as the government pension etc pays all the money needed to go into one of these places...
