Embattled digital marketing and media group Destra is today expected to be placed in receivership after key lender St George Bank effectively blocked the sale of Destra¿s DVD business to United States-based film distributor Lionsgate. The DVD business, Magna Pacific, accounts for annual earnings of about A$5 million and is one of only two profitable businesses remaining in Destra¿s stable. Some observers expressed surprise at St George¿s move as the bank had previously signalled it would not interfere in the sale
