Change of Name and ASX Code

2 December 2011

At the Company’s Annual General Meeting held on 23 November 2011, shareholders approved a special
resolution to change the name of the Company from Virgin Blue Holdings Limited to Virgin Australia
Holdings Limited. This change of name has today been registered with the Australian Securities &
Investments Commission. A copy of the Certificate of Registration on Change of Name is attached.
The Company also advises that its ASX code will change from VBA to VAH, effective from Wednesday,
7 December 2011.
