It was mentioned at the AGM that many of the gas assets also produce oil. Who knows what will come of this "process", we will have to wait and see the outcome. At the very least i find it encouraging that some of the offers have been considered worthy of consideration as the point of the exercise was to see a higher value attributed to the assets than was/is represented in the shareprice.
These are quality assets imo but there seems to be a high level of frustration amongst shareholders that are not seeing the value of these assets reflected in their investments.
Why solid, US based O and G companies cant seem to find favour with the market is beyond me, i see value here and was encouraged by what i saw and heard at the AGM.
