CLH: Suspension pending quantification of factors affecting interim result

Collection House Ltd asked for suspension pending the quantification of a number of factors impact on the financial results or the half year ending December 31 2005.

The company expects the result for the first half to be materially different from market expectations and it requires time to prepare information for the market.

These factors involve a combination of the effect of the IFRS treatment of assets, the need for a recalculation of recovery rates on certain portfolios of debt, the development of a more accurate approach to forecasting of revenue on purchased debt portfolios and an increase in the amortisation rate applicable to certain portfolios.

Collection House will provide the information as soon as possible and in any case before February 22.
