DP, another 13.4mm last 24 hrs at Moomba gives 40.4mm total for last 48hours to 9AM.
Southwest Qld in general does not appear, to me, to have had really heavy falls causing serious run-off or flooding and the Cooper Creek and its tributary feed rivers, the Thompson and Barcoo, are not even in minor flood upstream so maybe the 40mm will only disrupt local traffic and curtail oil industry transport for a short period, fingers crossed.
I heard on ABC News the Birdsville and Strezlecki Tracks are currently closed in SA.
