A quick check with Google show's there's been a few voluntary suspensions recently.
A historical example would be Batavia Mining, which had a voluntary suspension in Feb 2006. Check the chart...Not a bad result in that case. So not always bad news.
Assuming CPK is a going concern, the bad news is well and truly factored in. Any glimmer of hope would see a good result I would suggest.
