Just some more info on prices for manganese ore (sourced from http://www.shawriver.com.au/IRM/Company/ShowPage.aspx?CPID=1318&EID=34269788 )
Current price is around $7 per "dmtu" that is "dry metric tonne unit" (same as iron ore). So for 40% Mn that is $40 x 7 = $280 per tonne of ore. So at a gold price of around $1550 per oz that makes the Mn ore equivalent to about 5.5 g/t Au. And its sitting at surface.
