I’ve dealt with Urban Moto, they’re pretty sharp and good at what they do. I bought my Bimota Tesi through them.If memory serves me right, they have even expanded to be the MV Augusta importers for the USA. In short, no shortage of experience and know how. They have the ability to promote the SS brand very well here.
Looking at the SS website, it seems that the 45 kph limit seems to be a software, self imposed restriction, perhaps for ease of compliance or rider licensing in Europe? They may well derestrict this for other markets.
The CU-X series, surely, are direct competitors to Vmoto’s range. Pretty much the same genre ... I.e. both step through. This has to imply the planned demise of the Vmoto brand as a scooter manufacturer is on the cards? Why else would one be a landlord and sales agent for a competitor
Here is where the lack of transparency in their relationship becomes more than a little concerning. Remind me again how much cash at hand that VMT currently holds and you’ll understand my concern.
