Dont have much of an interest in the Everest or anything that goes with its administration of it.  

imo rediculous prize money for a non event sprint race.

It may attract the young race goers coming through but its no M.Cup, C.Cup or Cox plate (yet) 

If it ever gets to any status it'll be 30/50 yrs away.

Sorry to rave on and not have an answer but you'll get an idea of my lack of interest in whats involved with it.

Some one whos into this modern idea attached to the Everest should be able to answer your question.
