The hurt is only real if you still have stock, luckily i got out just after the ill fated takeover of Promina which provided a boon for Promina holders and an overpriced purchase price for Suncorp. You could see the writing on the wall with regards to synergies and historical corporate assimilation failures.
Integration, GFC, non-performing bank book etc haven't helped.
Anyway my money has been in good use elsewhere, and I cast my eyes of the share price occasionally to see if i made the right decision. Happy as larry with that one.
