Something I hadn't thought about until now - why would CAT sign an MOU at such an early stage in TNG's development?

It may or may not pan out to be the case, but the ties appear to run deep to the powerbrokers in WA industry through BBI (Peter Thomas Ex-FMG), TNG hires (Jason Giltay worked for Nev Power ex-FMG, Tony Arena Ex-Roy Hill) and thinking about CAT we get to ....

"He invested in the Caterpillar franchise in Western Australia (Wigmores Ltd) in 1988, and the company now called WesTrac has equipment dealer franchises in Western Australia, New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory and nine provinces across China, with the total number of employees close to 4,000 people, as well as 500 apprentices in Australia."

There is absolutely no way Stokes doesn't know about this MOU.
