13 December 2016. Three way MOU. TNG could still put together a Sumitomo supply aggreement, just need to get a Refinery operating with a bolt on electrolite plant. Now is the right time. It would be fantastic if TNG could get through the remaining hurdles with Germanic efficiency.
Evolving nations like Aftrica , India and China have vast areas with no or unreliable power source (Africa , 1 bill peeps no power another 1 bill with unreliable power).
But one doesn't have to look off shore, Australia has vast areas with no national grid access. Those areas may have access to diesel fueled generators or other limited limited power sources. They are expensive, ineficient and require transportation of desil. To roll out micro and macro sustainable energy storage systems into those areas would not only dramatically increase peeps quality of life but also stimulate the economy in a number of ways.
In edition we are seeing the replacement of mational grid back up fascilities with sustainably charged battery parks.
But the Sumitomo's puchase of Infinite Energy identifies another very real and under estimated power demand driver. It is the charging of EV's. The switch over to EV is fast approaching. By 2020 i bet the picture will show EV is the norm not the exeption. The initial thinking is when you park up after getting home for dinner youll plug in the car for the morning. No, that is the peek demand period on the grid. The extra load could be expodential and costly. It could also kick in the back up grid systems which could negate the benefits obtained from the EV revolution. Domestic dwellings and peeps office carparks will need sustainably charged battery stored power packs. This could be purpose built units that are available when purchasing the EV off the dealer or systems that suppliment the existing needs of the dwelling. Or they could be something a little more imaginative like photovoltaic car paint that converts sun to energy stored where the engine used to sit under the bonnet. Either way battery storage is a key component. We all know you can't have sustainably sourced energy without battery storage and currently sustainably sourced energy is the prefered replacement for fossel fuel to reduce co2 emissions.
TNG is so well placed in Australia to share in a big bite in this market, home grown and the potentially the first primery producer. The potential leader able to become a household name. Just get Mt Peake over the line and the rest will follow. Well I dream but its not unrealistic its do able. It just has to be done.
