    re: suggestion to all holders ... hotnickel QGC shareholders I think you need to understand that this is a "hostile" attempt at a takeover. QGC Board did not talk to the SGL Board first - so of course it will be treated as such.

    Second the Offer has been found to be deficient by the Takeovers Board as they believe that the SGL shareholders cannot make a fair & reasonable assesment of the offer. So in turn neither can the SGL Board.

    Why on earth would the SGL Board meet Cottee until they receive a document that an independent party agrees is fair & reasonable. Then they can have a rational discussion on the merits of a takeover.

    Unfortunately Cottee got it wrong in the first place. Rarely are hostile bids successful & this is exactly what is going to happen here
