    re: suggestion to all holders ... hotnickel Well, let's hope the SGL board's indignation at not first receiving a phone call from Cottee has not blinded them to the merits of his proposal; especially with the contributing notes issue hanging over their corporate heads like the "sword of Democles". The market obviously liked it and Cottee's vision for arbitraging between the Queensland and NSW energy and gas markets. Since the takeover was proposed, the share price of SGL has never been above the implied bid price, so to suggest it was not worth SGL having a dialogue with Cottee is to be frank (but not offensive) ridiculous.
