I worked on the FX/Treasury floor of Citigroup in Tokyo among other banks. Studied Gann, EWT, charting since the 1990's. TA is bunkum; that's my conclusion. You on the other hand, leapt straight for the logical fallacy of ad hominem (attack the man, not the argument) which is an emotional response.
