Yeah I got that impression too. I found this comment interesting too regarding the share price:
'Recently, demand for junior gold producer stocks has been severely tested with investors in this sector withdrawing to seek the huge short-term returns we have seen recently from the highly speculative “Pilbara Gold” and “Lithium / Cobalt” stories.'
Can someone enlighten me what he means makes Pilbera gold better than other gold... or is he referring to the byproducts found in this gold or it being like a Pilbera gold rush.
As per rare earth success stories regarding batteries it's like investing in apples and oranges. I didn't invest in SLR for a lithium byplay I could do that if I wanted too then saying investors are sheep. Does this also affect other companies in similar sectors or resources, I don't hear them whinging. I investing in a gold stock primarily because i thought it was undervalued...I wish I had those short term returns, because SLR hasn't made that great long-term returns with all the dilutions the stock has undergone and crap decisions compared to other mid now large size gold producers like NST and EVN long term. My mistake I should continue to hold the stock for long-term pain because the market is dumb not the company apparently while watching other miners get better and overtake SLR.
Now we have put you shareholder/investors in your place there will be no rewards for you just more more for us because we are doing a great job irrespective of price, so shut up and take your medicine. That was the message I got.
