I hope they don't issue the options either. Everyone had their chance to buy them in May. If they need to raise any money, I would prefer to see loyal holders of shares and options given the first opportunity for a rights issue. But, as per their announcement (as posted) the directors have retained the "right" to re-offer the options to whomever they please, and they haven't seemed to show much hesitation in diluting the company previously.
re: possible (I think probable) iron ore.
a) Check the AGU announcement 28 July in regard to the radiometric survey by Hyvista to identify mineralisation at Peak Hill on JV with GPN.
b) there are proven iron ore discoveries nearby.
c) this group who have a minimum of 80 million shares aren't buying them for no good reason; GPN's "very very ... good gold" wasn't found - so they probably aren't buying the shares for the potential gold.
