We also must remember that Taurus have a man on board , and its highly likely they have:
1. seen the PFS figures to date (or have figured it out for themselves. I'm sure they've had a squiz at enough data to put it together)
2. Would know that oxides are in the bag or not far away.
3. Have an idea (and input) into where the funding will ultimately come from and what form it will take. (and they sure don't seem to be too worried about dilution the way they've been buying !)
So they are probably laughing at the current valuation and buying as many as they can before the PFS is released which will highlight the valuation gap.
It might just be as simple as that..... they see a straight forward value play and are taking advantage of their position.
If the PFS shows cash costs well under $1000/oz , this is a steal for Taurus, even if POG stays around this level or lower still, the early years at Konks (shallow and highgrade = fast payback) are likely to set the project for a profitable future. Taurus know this ...
ps. They stand to make good $$$ if they fund the project also, but not sure if they have the capacity to do this..
