That always use to be the case. I remember on here when we could pick in advance with a great degree of certainty via turnover & price action when news was about to be released. Also whether it was going to be good or bad.
So i went back through the trading figures from the beginning of 2018. I looked at the date of every price sensitive news release. Checked the trading data for the 5 days prior to each release.
However i couldn't find a single instance of unusual turnover or price action in that period prior to any announcement.
It looks like they have certainly plugged the holes in what use to be a very leaky hull.
