WELL... if you go to the link that lists the services offered to companies that are already listed, it includes...:

My guess would be that, based on the nature of the services offered, including being "continually promoted", as well as the intended targets including "general investors", online forum advocacy could very well be an activity performed by entities like Invcoms. And they don't even pretend the endgame is anything other than "getting more money from investor pockets into company bank accounts".
Other LICs tend to be concerned with whether they are trading at a discount to NTA...
