The bewildering thing is, it has a massive gas discovery--I think they say the biggest in Australia in nearly 40 yrs.
However, Gas is not in short supply as far as I am aware so perhaps the asset is not currently worth what the hype indicates it might be.
Having said that, it must be worth huge money at some point since the resource is so large that it can span several price cycles over its production lifetime.
In addition I think cash burn at AWE is strong but really really happy to be corrected on that.
