Hi Nikl, I use MT4 for my EA's only because the platform Iuse to write EA's is designed for MT4. As Mason has pointed out there are other options.
Also as per Mason's comments, there is already an EA thread (the original FX thread titled "Forex trading 2019 TA/FA setups and discussion"), rather than start a new EA thread with a new title my preference is to use that existing thread simply because of the valuable history of posts it already contains - otherwise that will essentially be lost to newcomers and even those of us wanting to refer back to some of the excellent posts it contains).
So out of respect for the subject scope of this thread I won't refer to EA's anymore here, and use the other thread for EA discussions.
