Hi Sharks and RickM Thanks for the responses. It’s only just dawned on me that even though the Forex market is open 24/5, it doesn’t mean you should trade 24/5! I think I need to revisit some of my discarded strategies and try them at times of high liquidity only (ie London session) That May cut down on some of the losers. I’m also thinking that EAs maybe the way forward for me. I like the idea of taking the emotion out of the trade. At the moment I have a Demo with CMC on their own platform which, as far as I can tell, has no ability to run automated systems. What platform do you guys use for your EAs ? Mt4 or Mt5? Or something else? I would like to be able to program in reversal candlestick patterns, is that possible with MQL4? Thanks in advance. And Rick, It hadn’t even occurred to me regarding the suggested trading strategies that the brokers pedal on their sites! I have a lot to learn....
