NZ pairs are beasts and sometimes best left alone. I thought like you there may be a
rate cut and that trade of yours could have been excellent.
My NZDUSD showed an overnight Divergence trigger, which normally meant I
would have entered on 20:00 4H close this morning. Pending NZ news kept me out
and boom the trade was gone.
All you can do Spec. is take the next trade when it shows up. Don't ever become gun-shy.
