Had a quick look at the annual reports and key facts on the CCA site.
No where do they actually mention production volumes, how much of the profit has been driven by just increasing prices? How much has actual demand fell? Has CCA priced themselves too high, and now caused a chain reaction by pricing themselves outside.
People travel, people can see they are being taken for a ride here in Australia.
600ml Coke runs from $4 - $4.50
USA - 591ml coke is 99c - $1.50USD ($1.10 -> $1.65)
UK - 500ml coke is 1.20 - 1.50GBP ($2.14 - $2.67)
Singapore - 500ml coke is $1.20SGD ($1)
Hong Kong - 500ml coke is $10 HKD ($1.40)
2L bottles in Australia are up to $4.29 !!! They are 99c in the states.
