asx release confirms takeover offers
12.20PMASX Announcement 27 September 2006 API response to market speculation Australian Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (API) said today that it has received approaches from a number of parties regarding the company’s ownership. However, these approaches have been of an informal nature and a data room has not been established. In line with its fiduciary duties, the Board will consider any bona fide proposals which might be put to it by those parties. The Board and management will continue to closely monitor the company’s businesses and strategic direction.
