PERTH-based gold explorer Strickland Resources has listed on the ASX following a $A3 million initial public offering.
The stock never moved beyond the 20c issue price, with 350,000 shares changing hands.
The company was formed in February to acquire the 14 Mile Well gold project near Leonora in Western Australia, where previous exploration identified several gold anomalies.
The project is 15 kilometres west of the 7 million ounce Wallaby gold mine.
Ventnor Capital co-founder John Hannaford is non-executive chairman, with geologist Brian Thomas and chartered accountant Morgan Barron as non-executive directors.
Bligh Capital, a company associated with Ventnor, was lead manager to the IPO.
Hannaford and Barron each hold more than 5% of the company.
