The TD for Yullaroo-1 was 4,572.3 metres in the Upper Devonian (it took about 28 weeks from spud to rig release).
The gas sands in Y-1 or at least the sections that had DSTs were at approx 3200 - 3400 m.
In Y-1 coral fragments were supposedly recovered from the top interval (which starts at 3,849.6m) of the Upper Devonian, thus the theory of a Nullara-equivalent carbonate reef over the Upper Devonian source rocks but up-dip from Y-1.
Can only assume they are drilling below the theorised GWC to reach the Devonian section that would signal the bottom of the reef.
