Given horrendous year for insurance Suncorp still posted a good profit, may be assisting current price.
Talk of structural changes etc also assist.
However, would suggest checking the base Reinsurance cost, and investment returns for the last 3/4 years, in the annual report.
The reinsurance costs will increase again with any large cyclones/floods/earthquakes etc, investment income was in line with global markets 10/11, the current global markets however are looking more like 2008 than 2010.
