I suspect larger "turnover orders" for bulk seasonal OTC lines would still have been distributed by Sigma. Even Pfizer was still distributing bulk OTCs through wholesalers and not DHL. Individual stores or groups would calculate requirements based on sales history and place order with company reps. CW would have negotiated discount levels on behalf of all stores. No point in CW warehousing and distributing large volumes of seasonal stock.
Woolworths and Coles naturally have their own warehouses located throughout Australia and deliver to all stores including pharmacy like lines.
