There looks to be a meaningful window between now and signing the foxtel deal. If stan wants access to 120,000 streamers or doesn't want foxtel accessing 120,000 streamers it will have to get is roller skates on.
No doubt there will be a clause in the deal that will exclude stan from supplying content even if they initiate a takeover.
For both foxtel and stan 120,000 subs could be a 30% bump in streamers for little expense.
Also QFX churn has been around 4%/6%. This may convert to 100,000 possible subs.
When you cancel you subscription they send an email every time a new offer comes up to resign. So QFX will have access to all the churn customers stating the content has been upgraded and they have a sexy new deal for resigning.
Cheaper content costs, increases content, becoming foxtels new best mate, improvement to the bottom line, some cant see it for what it is, moving in the right direction.
