Very expensive way of building customers (but to be fair more of a brand build exercise than a direct call to action)
Perhaps these old fossils in charge need some young dynamic digital marketing / business analysts to assist. They seem to understand and have the right idea around building a commercial product and being able to feed data back to give better insights to drive improvements and therefore business performance. I really like that side. Perhaps they don't know how to analyse and execute. How to drive positive ROI on marketing spend? What their financial and non-financial core metrics are?
