The combined entity will have more resources to do more drilling or buy assets or a combination of the both to replace future oil reserves - let them combine first before reading to far.
Would love to see someone work out what their combined assets would look like and the amount of acerage they'd control - I should do it myself but people like spec have the best maps and resources
