Off the top of my head, their combined oil production would be about 7million barrels, at a cost of approx $28-30 in AUD, so... at US $65-70 we are talking AUD $50-60 profit, or... upwards of $400 million per year. The gas would provide another 100 million or so. Considering the company's merged MC is going to be about 1.1 billion, its easy to see they are going to be very popular with the big end of town.
